The goal was never to tell women who to become. It was to help them hear themselves again.

For years, I kept hearing different versions of the same question: "What's wrong with me?"
Sometimes it was about desire. Sometimes it was about confidence. Sometimes it was about feeling disconnected from a partner, a body, or a version of themselves they thought they should be.
Most of the time, nothing was wrong. They were experiencing something they didn't yet understand.
The more I listened, the more I realized these experiences weren't random. Over time, I began noticing patterns and seasons people move through in their relationship with intimacy. What felt confusing or personal often made sense when viewed through a developmental lens.
That question became the seed of the Intimacy Shift framework — a way of understanding where you are, how you got there, and what this season may be asking you to notice.
Over the years, my work as a therapist and intimacy educator has brought me into conversations about desire, confidence, connection, and the ways people learn to relate to themselves and their bodies. Again and again, I saw people interpreting these experiences as evidence that something was wrong with them — when often they were responding to relationships, expectations, and seasons of life they were never taught to understand.
That pattern is what led me to create Shamaree LAB™ — a space built around curiosity, self-understanding, and a different question: not "what's wrong with me?" but "what is my relationship with intimacy asking me to notice?"
This work is also personal. I built Shamaree LAB™ from my own questions about intimacy — and from years spent witnessing other women make sense of theirs.
Not fixing. Understanding.
Not performing. Listening.
Not becoming someone new. Making sense of what's already true.
The foundation behind the work.
My work sits at the intersection of relationship therapy, sex therapy, and the belief that understanding comes before change.

Your relationship with intimacy is something you can understand,
reconnect with, and redefine.
Intimacy is developmental.
Pleasure is information.
Desire is adaptive.
Your intimacy moves with your life, not apart from it.
There is no universally correct way to experience intimacy.
